Ingredients
Method
- Mix flour, baking powder and cocoa powder in a large bowl.
- Add cottage cheese, maple, syrup, vanilla extract, vanilla bean paste, eggs, avocado oil, milk and food coloring in blender or mini food processor. Blend wet ingredients.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients. Mix with whisk.
- Pour mixture into waffle iron and cook until fully baked. Time will depend on the waffle iron. Mini waffle iron tends to cook faster within 1-2 minutes per waffle.
- Add your favorite topping! Use a heart-shaped cookie cutter for a festive shape.

For larger gatherings, this four section waffle maker has slightly larger red velvet Belgian waffles portions and a lot of bells and whistle.
